It's a good point but I don't think you need to be anointed alone with that thinking.

It doesn't have to a going to Heaven thing...

Everyday we have people saying they are the only ones who God won't Kill and they will Live Forever in a Paradise and the Whole world including Antarctica will be a Paradise.. and they will pet Lions and Tigers and Bears....Oh my! And These people Actually come to your House and Knock on your Door usually with little Children next to them telling You these Things....

And Everyone who died in the World Will Be Resurected and also have the chance to Live Forever .....I know I'm forgetting alot more....

They walk the streets every single day..... They are viewed as Crazy.... but no one locks them up and puts them in straight jackets....

this is one of the most aggressive watchtowers i think i have ever read.. four study articles on not "following the crowd" not following unrealities(page 13) not following false teachers, meaning apostates of course(p 15).

avoiding false teachers means "refusing to read their literature, watch tv programs that feature them, examine their web sites, or add comments to their blogs.

when i was a single jw, well, lets say around about my early 20ies, i used to to let my mind flow a bit during the kh meetings.. welll, anyway, i used to observe some of the "older" sisters around their late 30ies or 40ies in their stockings and high heels.

it really turned me on, i must admit.

i couldn t concentrate much of the programme due to this.

I've heard people can speak in tongues, but I have never heard of anyone who can "write in tongues"

i'm pretty sure everyone here knows what is meant by "speaking in tongues", but, just for the sake of clarity, i will say what i understand it to be.

it's the ability to speak in languages other than those you learned as a child, or as a student.

it's not just speaking gibberish or utter uninteligible sounds.

I brought this up with my Wife once and I had a good Laugh about those who claim they have spoke in Tongues....

Her face changed to a Serious and Offended look.....

She Claims to have experienced this "Blessing" and informed me that as I have a great knowledge of The Bible this is one Subject I have no right to Ridicule.

It took quiet a long Discussion to regain my Humility for actually Laughing about one's Faith that I had no right to.

Another Late Lesson in Life..... even thou I might not Believe in Speaking in Tongues .....I have no right to try to humiliate one's Faith....especially one I love who has never pushed her Faith on me..

From what I learned that night it is not Gibberish..... it is a Language one has never learned. She speaks several Languages and I learned her Language....

What is funny is a night when she is sleeping ...she will often talk in her Sleep.... and I will be Honest... She speaks this Unknown Language and it isn't gibberish...LOL and I don't think it's the miracle of Speaking in Tongues....it's just her own Language LOL
